Title : Onna-Musha
Onna - meaning female in Japanese, and Musha - this means warrior, or samurai.
We come from all over, and have many faces and styles, but it is the way we walk through this life that makes us into warriors. I have seen moms and little sisters and old aunties fighting so hard for themselves and their loved ones, they are amazing. One should ask themselves - who could possibly give more than a mother? If these strong and beautiful souls aren’t warriors, then who out there is?

Title : American Hikikomori
In this generation especially, young people are getting further and further away from simple reality. There are lots of reasons for this, and places to point the finger, but the fact remains. Children are our most precious resource, our very future. So, if they are drifting, where is it they are going?

Title : That moment before the city wakes up. .
I live in the city right now and can see how everything is connected by noise and light and form. There is a little bit of magic everywhere but our brains seem to filter it out for us to make it easier to walk but a bit harder to see how beautiful everything is, especially in the morning. It might be possible to “trick” the eye to see everything else again. This piece will be part of a series that will try to help with that.

Title : Just like a game (aka - Bring it on!)
Life, ahhh life. It’s so much like a game sometimes. You’re never sure if the decisions we’ve made will end up as a win, or as a loss. Either way, keep trying, don’t give up half-way. Experience is the world’s oldest and greatest teacher!
